Technological Singularity, Consciousness and Life

I guess I am very influenced by a couple of people first one was Steve Jobs, and the second is Larry Page.
Others time and again keep me interested, but these two always comes at the top of my minds, Mark Zuckerburg is another.

The research is on, and people are taking interests in AI/ML/Data Science. As per Larry and many others, we are supposed to hit a technological singularity around 2035-2040, where all those jobs which can be done by machines w be delegated to machines, and there is a fear that if people were not adequately skilled up by then, that would result in a massive increase in the unemployment rate.

I don’t want to discuss ethics and other stuff, but I want to imagine the future after the technological singularity. I mean what are we left with, if we would be on the right side of the things than we are going to have plenty of time to think and socialize. After this, our attention would turn to Consciousness, the last stepping stone for humankind, as many scientists believe.

We think that understanding the nature of Consciousness and how it works would be the one big leap for humankind, maybe bigger than leap on Moon, by Neil Armstrong, and I agree to this fullest.
The life around this has to be very beautiful, as Consciousness is something which makes us human, makes us aware of surrounding human beings and nature. Would love to see the human race reach the level where we leave behind fears of food scarcity, malnutrition, epidemics, war, pollution behind and think only about how to raise our Consciousness.

I would love to see this future, but before this, I want to contribute something from my side to reach this technological singularity. I am upskilling myself on various stuff like Programming as a general, Machine Learning/Data Science and working as a DevOps Developer, and I am a strong proponent to implement automation in every single redundant task that comes my way. This is what will give me more time to be creative, thoughtful.

This is why I respect and agree with the ideas of Larry Page to automate everything, and humans should spend more time with something more useful. I agree with the ideas of Mark Zuckerburg to connect this world. I consider what Steve Jobs said, to have a piece of art embedded in whatever you do, it should not matter whether people will be able to observe it or not, but your work should always be inspired and perfected like great artwork.

I know there is a significant difference between talk and walk, the best I can do is taking one step at a time and become good at first programming and Math, then see their implementation in new world technologies like Machine Learning and AI. Let’s see.
